Animate IT

Join us for a fun introduction to coding!

Community volunteer Afsha Sethna will introduce kids ages 6-9 to coding with simple and fun activities. Curious parents and caregivers are invited to attend to help their child explore and learn themselves. There will be 4 Saturday morning sessions covering Scratch, and an introduction to animation and story/game design. Laptops are available from the library but if you are able to, or prefer to, use your own laptop please let us know at registration.

Afsha Sethna is a professional software engineer. She has grown up in North Vancouver and has been helping kids learn coding throughout the Lower Mainland. She enjoys teaching kids and adults to the world of technology and coding.
