Be a part of a worldwide project using respectful dialogue to better understand your community. The Human Library is intended to provide a safe, neutral space to explore your curiosity through respectful conversations with people in your community.
Attend the 2nd Human Library event at NVDPL! Meet artists and creators with diverse life experiences who will be “loaned” to you for twenty-minute sessions. You can “read” with one or more "books", depending on availability. Titles include: 
  • What Does a Conductor Really Do?
  • Actor, Athlete, Weaver
  • Telling Tales: Life as an Oral Storyteller
  • A Journey Through Polynesian Art & Culture
