Teen Writing Contest

CALLING ALL TEEN WRITERS!

Enter the Writing Sparks Change Teen Writing Competition! Submit a tale of your choosing to the Library and you could win a book prize and have your piece of writing added to the Library’s collection.

Contest Details

  • Genre: Whatever you are inspired to write! Short stories, book chapters, fanfiction, poetry, graphic novels, creative nonfiction, etc.
  • Content: Incorporate the Teen Summer Reading Club theme:  Reading Sparks Change
  • Length: Up to 20 pages (typed & double spaced) maximum.
  • Judging: Entries will be judged on creativity, how well you incorporate the theme of Reading Sparks Change, and editing (grammar, spelling, etc.). 3 winners will be selected.
  • Submissions: Only 1 entry per applicant will be considered.
