Getting into Climate Action: Solutions 101 & 201

Join us for 3 sessions to learn or review the climate action basics as facilitated by Michelle Sheardown and David Hunter of Regenerate BC (formerly DrawdownBC), in person at the NVDPL Lynn Valley Branch for 3 consecutive Wednesdays, 6:30-8 from February 7 - 21. Come together for interactive community engagement around known climate solutions and prepare yourself for getting into action!

We will hold 2 additional sessions on Feb. 28 and March 6 for any participants who would like to dive deeper into the material, have one-on-one coaching, develop action plans, be mentored as they embark on new pathways, or use the time however the group decides would be most impactful.

RegenerateBC's goal is to educate, engage, and inspire citizens to put into action known and proven solutions to the climate crisis, and build a thriving, just, and sustainable BC and world for all.

Conversation and Connections: Energy Matters

Everyone welcome! Join us for refreshment, information sessions, and discussion on a variety of topics.

Topic: Energy Matters - Using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) for well-being

A presentation by Tamar Genossar – an accredited Emotional Freedom Technique practitioner.

We all hold tension in our bodies in the form of trapped energy as a result of stressful experiences. Come and learn how to release this trapped energy using EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique).

Also known as tapping, EFT is a mind-body technique that is highly effective in promoting calm and relaxation, releasing stress and revealing the root causes of issues. It can also be used as a tool that anyone can utilize whenever needed.

The presentation is a combination of a lecture and workshop with the aim of introducing the audience to the technique and getting them to experience it.
