Written in the Snow – A History of Mount Seymour

Please join Alex Douglas (Uncle Al), Mount Seymour historian, for an engaging talk and photo presentation on the history of Mount Seymour.

Alex worked for 47 years on Seymour and will share many amazing stories about the climbers, cabins and characters that graced our local ski hill. He will also discuss Dag Aabye (of Outsider bookfame) who worked on Mount Seymour and Whistler mountains and became one of the world’s first extreme skiers. Alex will discuss the Mount Seymour Historical Project and how you can help.
