Looking for a dose of seasonal nostalgia? Want to share your experiences with winter food, activities, clothing, and holidays with others? Join us to watch the six-part CBC series Back in Time for Winter!

Gain insight into Canadian winter traditions spanning six decades— from the 1940s to the 1990s. In this CBC series, a modern-day Northern Ontario suburban family experiences firsthand six decades of Canadian winters. You can watch each episode along with our librarian and other participants starting at 2:00pm or watch on your own and join the discussion just before 3:00pm. Join us for one, some, or all of the episodes!

This meeting will take place on Zoom. What you’ll need: A computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam for Zoom; or your smartphone/tablet. We will email you the Zoom link in advance of the event. We will be using Zoom Meetings, so your mic and video will be turned off when you enter the event.
