Join the discussion as we go over Ann Patchett’s The Dutch House.

This family drama spans a half-century and centers around siblings Danny and Maeve’s relationship to each other and the “Dutch House” of the title. After their mother abandons them, and their father dies, their stepmother expels them from their house when they are still youths. This is the story of changing fortunes and family relationships told with compelling psychological and emotional insight.
