November is Financial Literacy Month! In this workshop, you’ll learn how to take advantage of tax-free and tax-deferred registered accounts to save for yours and your family’s future. Plus, learn about investing options to help build and strengthen your financial wellness. Understand the benefits and drawbacks of various types on investments before committing your hard-earned money. Develop strategies for planning out your financial future.

Murray is the Manager of Financial Empowerment for Family Services of Greater Vancouver. He is a leading North American authority on student financial planning and author of the bestseller, The Debt Free Graduate: How to Survive College or University Without Going Broke. He has worked in financial literacy for over 20 years and is passionate about financial education and empowering individuals to take greater control of their finances and become savvy consumers.

This meeting will take place on Zoom. What you’ll need: A computer with microphone (or headphones) and webcam for Zoom; or your smartphone/tablet. We will email you the Zoom link in advance of the event. We will be using Zoom Meetings, so your mic and video will be turned off when you enter the event.
