Living with Wildlife on the North Shore

Learn more about the magnificent animals with whom we share the North Shore!

This presentation has a strong focus on black bears and their behaviour, biology, seasonal habits and what to do in an encounter. A short introduction to coyotes and cougars, their seasonal habits and how to respond during an encounter concludes the evening. Every year, bears are killed on the North Shore for close encounters with humans, but these negative interactions can be avoided by taking the proper steps.

Presented by Luci Cadman, the Executive Director of the North Shore Black Bear Society.
