Navigating Health Care: Prepare for Medical Emergencies

If you have a medical emergency, will your important medical information be available to emergency medical responders? Will your family know who to call? Put all of your information together so it's ready to go.

More and more, patients are responsible for managing their own health conditions, and it can be overwhelming. These sessions offer practical tips for navigating the health care system. Presenter Vicki Lee is a health librarian and board-certified patient advocate who knows the value of getting the right information at the right time in a format you can use.
