The North Shore Writers Festival presents ‘Writing for Young Adults with Eileen Cook and Jackie Bateman’.
In this workshop, sponsored by the North Shore Writers Association, two award winning multi-published authors will discuss what makes a novel YA (young adult). Jackie Bateman and Eileen Cook will break down authentic characters, storytelling, and world-building for everything from contemporary stories to dystopian. Bring your questions, be ready to hear about this exciting market, and take home prompts and new ideas to get you writing. The session will be moderated by Sonia Garrett of the North Shore Writers Association.
