Survive Outside Program

Statistics show that each year across Canada there are approximately 5,000 ground Search and Rescue incidents, many involving outdoor enthusiasts, from hikers to boaters and everything in between. AdventureSmart increases awareness to help reduce the number and severity of search and rescue incidents in BC and across Canada.

Join them for a presentation on how to have a safe and fun time in the wilderness. AdventureSmart will cover the “3 T’s”: trip planning, training, and taking the essentials. Registered attendees will receive an emergency blanket and emergency whistle!

Register online or call 604-987-4471 ext. 8175.
