Teen & Adult Anti-Racist Book Club

Let’s bring our community together to explore the concept of anti-racism and help each other figure out ways to take concrete action towards a more equal society.

We have two titles to explore, and you can chose to read one or both! When we meet over Zoom on October 22nd we will share what we learned from the book(s) and what we’re thinking. We’ll talk about ways to take action and on November 18th we’ll come back together to share what we’ve done and plan for the future!

We will be exploring the titles This Book is Anti-Racist by Tiffany Jewell (teen selection) and How to be Anti-Racist by Ibram X. Kendi (adult selection).

We will have copies of each book available to participants. Call 604-987-4471, ext. 8175 to ask a librarian how to obtain a copy.
