Looking for a ideas to create a socially conscious craft? Meet Zines!
Zines (pronounced zeen, as in maga-zine) are handmade publications that resemble little magazines or chapbooks. They’re a great place to share your ideas about the world, record your opinions, write your memoire, or start a comic.
In this workshop, we’ll learn how to use basic materials to make a small zine, and then work on writing and illustrating our own chapbooks, with the option of contributing your zine to a future project at the library!
Teen Zines is open to young people ages 11-18.
