Join us for a Virtual Presentation with award nominated children’s author Frieda Wishinsky.
Frieda Wishinsky's ‘How to Become an Accidental Genius’ is nominated for a 2021 Red Cedar Book Award and she has also written picture books, chapter books and non-fiction. Frieda will talk about her process of finding interesting stories in the lives of famous people and how she uses personal stories in writing both fiction and non-fiction. Her latest book ‘How to Become an Accidental Activist’ will be coming out this Spring!
Join us as Frieda shares how her real life experiences inform her writing. The presentation is suited to children in grades 4-7.
Individuals may register online. Classes from North Vancouver District Elementary Schools are also invited to attend.
