Online Library Card Registration

If you do not currently have a library card with the North Vancouver District Public Library and would like to get one, please fill out the form below. If you have a library card or account but have forgotten your library card number, please call your local NVDPL's Circulation Department for assistance.

Steps

  1.  Complete the form below and submit it.

  2. A member of our staff will contact you by email with your library card number and PIN.

  3. A physical library card will be mailed to the address you provided. Privileges will be activated for a 1 month period. During this time, you will need to visit the library for your membership to continue.

  4. On your first visit to the library, before you check out any physical items, present a piece of photo ID with your current address. If your ID does not show your current address, please bring a piece of mail (e.g. a utility bill) with your current address in addition to your photo ID.

  5. Once your identity and address have been confirmed, you will be able to checkout physical items.

Please note: due to our vendors agreements, e-resources are available only to residents of the District of North Vancouver. However, you are welcome to borrow physical material from the library regardless of where you live.
