3D Printing Terms of Use
Please read through the terms of use before submitting a 3D printing request form. By using the 3D printing service at the Library, you agree to the following conditions:
Anyone with an active NVDPL library card with $5 or less in unpaid fees.
Your submission:
is not prohibited by provincial or federal law,
is not unsafe, harmful, dangerous,
does not pose a threat to the well-being of others,
and is not in violation of another's intellectual property rights.
Library staff reserve the right to reject my submission for any reason.
Library staff will provide a cost estimate for approval via email. If you approve this estimate, you will be required to pay the final cost in full, regardless of discrepancy, before receiving the printed model.
Library staff will attempt to print your submitted file up to two times. If the second print is unsuccessful, the print will be cancelled at no cost to you.
Library staff will process submissions in order of arrival and cannot guarantee project delivery dates.
Library staff will email me when the model is printed. If payment is not received within 30 days, the item becomes property of the Library.
The Library reserves the right to photograph and document your 3D printed item for promotional or informational purposes.
