Lynn Creek Kiosk
Discover a new way to library! NVDPL’s Kiosk at Lynn Creek Community Centre is a self-service machine that connects you to many of the resources you love from your library. Browse, borrow, and return – all at one stop in the Lynn Creek Community Centre.
We keep a rotating selection of the latest and greatest books, DVDs, Blu-rays, and digital audiobooks for kids called Playaways. Our staff regularly restock the kiosk collection to keep it fresh which means you’ll likely find items in the machine that are
in high-demand!
Anything without a “Reserved” sticker can be borrowed conveniently without needing to place a hold. You can also request items from any NVDPL location to be delivered to the kiosk for pickup.
The NVDPL Kiosk makes it easy to access new books and media conveniently in the Lynn Creek area but full library services are limited. To enjoy full access and in-person assistance from NVDPL staff, visit your nearest full-size NVDPL location.

Please note:

This is a self-service location with no NVDPL staff. For account questions or assistance with the machine, please call Lynn Valley Library during open hours at 604-984-0286 (option #2).

Book return is only available during facility hours. This location does not have an external book drop.

Unfortunately, some items, including most children’s picture books, are too large for machine slots and cannot be reserved for pickup at the kiosk.

Parking
There is free underground parking with 49 parking stalls, including a number of accessible parking stalls and electric vehicle charging stations. No overnight parking.
Transit
Plan your trip to the Library with Translink. The Library and Community Recreation Centre are accessible by bus routes 209, 210, 211, 227, and 245.
Cycling
The library is located near cycling routes and locked bike stalls are available. Plan your bike route using the North Shore Cycling Map.
The NVDPL Kiosk is located on the 1st floor of the Lynn Creek Community Recreation Centre with street-level access and automatic doors. There is underground designated parking with elevator access to all floors of the facility. Accessible washrooms are also available.
