Your online experience at NVDPL is going to look different beginning March 12.

Our current integrated library system is over 20 years old and requires replacement. Using feedback we’ve received from our patrons, we’ve been hard at work building a new catalogue, website, and events platform to make your virtual library experience more intuitive, engaging, user-friendly, and accessible.

The 2024 theme for Black History Month is: “Black Excellence: A Heritage to Celebrate; a Future to Build,” which celebrates the rich past and present contributions and accomplishments of Black people in Canada, while aspiring to embrace new opportunities for the future. Learn more.

NEW: North Shore Digital Libraries

Dive into the past and unravel stories that have shaped our community!

The North Shore Digital Libraries project is a special online collection of digitized newspapers from North Vancouver and West Vancouver, including North Shore News issues from 1976–2000.

Use North Shore Digital Libraries for access to decades of North Shore News publications, linking the stories, milestones, and memories of our local community and making them accessible for future generations.
