Booking Guidelines

• Users must be registered with NVDPL and have a card in good standing. (We honour BC One Card services for StoryLab.)
• Bookings are for a maximum of 2 hours per day.
• Booking requests must be submitted 48 hours before the booking start time.
• Your booking is not guaranteed until you receive confirmation.
• Arriving more than 10 minutes late may result in your booking being canceled.
• Check in with a Digital Services Assistant at the start of your booking.
• If this is your first booking you will need to sign a StoryLab waiver and compete a brief certification process.
• The minimum booking age is 13 years old. Patrons under 19 must co-sign with a parent or legal guardian.
• StoryLab is a self-directed space. Digital Services Assistants are only available to get you started and help with questions. For further assistance, we have helpful resources linked at the bottom of each StoryLab resource's page.
• Give yourself time to clean up and save your work before the end of your booking
• Please refer to the StoryLab Terms of Use and NVDPL's Code of Conduct before using our spaces.
