Booking the Digitization Station
-
Request a booking: First, review the booking guidelines and request a time on our calendar. You can book up to 2 hours a day, but requests must be submitted 48 hours in advance. On the booking form, tell us about your project, your experience level, and any special equipment you'll need. We'll send a confirmation email when your booking is approved!
-
Plan ahead: You'll need to sign a StoryLab waiver and compete a brief certification at the start of your first booking. Remember to bring something to save your work onto (e.g. USB stick, hard drive). If you forget, USB sticks can be purchased at the Circulation Desk before your booking. Be sure to let us know in advance if you're running late or need to reschedule.
-
Have fun creating: Arrive on time and check in with the Digital Services Assistant at the StoryLab desk, then get started on your project! StoryLab is a self-directed space but the Digital Services Assistants can help with your certification and offer tips along the way - just ask!
