How do you tell your story?

North Vancouver District Public Library is thrilled to announce that we are developing a new digital storytelling centre at Lynn Valley Library. Comprised of a digital creation studio connected to a flexible teaching and learning space, the StoryLAB will include a suite of audio/visual and other technology and tools that will offer opportunties for community members to create and edit audio, video, photography or other physical or digital arts and texts.

We're envisioning:

  • Recording booth for projects like podcasting, audiobook recording, and other solo digital audio recording projects
  • Audio/Visual Studio with dozens of digital creations opportunities
  • Post-production workspace with computer programs for digital creation
  • Public charging and BYOD space
  • Scanning and print services
  • Digital displays for sharing content and stories
Stay tuned for information as we develop this space!!
