Online Library Card Registration

Please note we are experiencing issues with internal notifications from online forms through our website. You may receive an error message regarding email relay but the library should still receive your submission. Please contact us if you have not been contacted within 1 week of submission. Thank you!

If you do not currently have a library card with the North Vancouver District Public Library and would like to get one, please fill out this online form. If you have a library card, but have forgotten your barcode number, please call your branch Circulation Department for assistance.

Steps

1. Complete the form below and submit it.
2. A member of our staff will you contact by email with your barcode and PIN.
3. A library card will then be mailed to the address you have provided. Privileges will have been activated on the card for a 1 month period.  During this time, you will need to visit the library for your membership to continue.
4. On your first visit to the library, before you check out any physical items, present a piece of photo ID with your current address. If your ID does not show your current address, please bring a piece of mail (e.g. a utility bill) with your current address in addition to your photo ID. Once your identity and address have been confirmed, you will be able to checkout physical items.

Please note: due to our vendors agreements, e-resources are available only to residents of the District of North Vancouver. However, you are welcome to borrow physical material from the library regardless of where you live.
Let us know if you are a new patron and require an account to be set-up, or if you are an existing patron who needs a replacement card.
