Run Your Own Book Club

NVDPL also supports book clubs in the community with suggestions for what to read next, book sets, and collections of reviews, author bios, and discussion questions. If your book club is looking for a place to meet, speak to a librarian about using space in the library.

The Library's Book Club Collection are available for borrowing as a set or individually; usually 10 or more copies of a title are available. In most cases as these books have been discussed by the Library's book discussion groups, notes are also available. Holds are also permitted on multiple copies.

For titles in this collection, see our Staff Picks lists  particularly "Books to Talk About," You can also search for "book club collection" in the library catalogue, or browse the Book Club Collection at Lynn Valley Library in person. Some of the titles are also availabe at Capilano Library and Parkgate Library branches.
