Do you like to experiment with new recipes and chat about your experiences? Come Cook the Books with us and test out the best recipes!

Get together with your fellow food-enthusiasts and put a cookbook to the test! Every month we’ll select a new cookbook from the NVDPL collection and you pick the recipe (or two!) you’d like to try out. At the next meeting, you’ll share your experience with the recipe: what worked, what didn't? Did you have difficulty with any of the ingredients? What would you do next time to make it better? Did it BOMB or is it now in your Favourites File?

Next Meeting:

Wednesday, January 24  | 2:00pm—3:00pm
Capilano Library

This month, we're choosing recipes from Well Fed, Flat Broke cook book.

The Cookbook of the Month will be available at Capilano Library for you to photocopy the recipes you’d like to try— just ask at the Information Desk!
