The NSIIP is a coalition of community agencies and institutions focused on improving the settlement and integration of new immigrants into the community. Originally known as the North Shore Welcoming Action Committee, the Committee led many initiatives to enhance the inclusive nature of the North Shore. In 2014, NSIIP became one of 19 Local Immigration Partnerships across BC whose aim is to enhance collaboration, coordination and strategic planning at the local level to make communities more welcoming and inclusive.
