Youth Film Camp

Thank you for participating in this year's Film Camp!

Film Camp is a 5-day school break program at the Library where students entering Grades 5, 6, 7 or 8 come to work with others and develop filmmaking skills.  Participants use filmmaking equipment and with the help of filmmaking educators from the Cinematheque come together to make great stories for the screen!

Under the guidance of professionals from The Cinematheque, participants learn:
  • how to use creativity to define the content, the style, and the tone of their videos
  • how to hone ideas into a clear message and story on screen
  • how to nurture an idea into a script and translate it into a compelling story

Below are this year's movies as written, shot, and edited by Film Camp participants.
