Virtual Author Visit: Jennifer Nielsen - Grades 4-5

Join Jennifer Nielsen for a glimpse inside her world, her imagination, and her process from first idea to finished novel.
 
Jennifer is the New York Times Bestselling Author of The Ascendance Series, the Traitor’s Game Series, and historical novels including A Night Divided, Resistance, Words on Fire, and Lines of Courage. Her next book to be released is Iceberg, a story based on the Titanic. 
 
The 9:30am–10:30am session is for grades 4–5. Another session for grades 6–8 will be held at 10:45am–11:45am. The event will include ASL interpretation.

Book Buddies

Book buddies is a one-on-one reading program to help young readers get more comfortable.

We match up developing readers with teen volunteers to read together and play literacy games for 30 minutes each week.

Book buddies is available for kids ages 6-11; participants must be able to attend all four sessions. Each Saturday, there are 3 30-minute time slots between 10:30am and 12:00pm.
