DocuTalk: I Am Human

Join us as we watch a short documentary and then connect via Zoom to discuss it! We will be watching documentaries that touch on social, cultural, political, and global issues. Then, we’ll have an open discussion and exchange of ideas over the film’s topic.

I Am Human

Saturday, September 25 | 2:00pm-4:00pm

Meet some of the world’s first cyborgs - Bill, a tetraplegic, Stephen, who is blind, and Anne, an artist with Parkinson’s. I am Human follows the journeys of these three medical pioneers and the scientists working with them as together they try to unlock the secrets of the brain. With the help of technology, are humans on a new evolutionary path? Are we redefining what it is to be human?

This meeting will be held on Zoom. You can watch the film with the group at 2:00pm, or watch on your own and join us 5-10 minutes before 3:00pm for a great discussion!
