Deep Cove Heritage Talk at Parkgate Library

Join us for a Deep Cove Heritage Society “Talk and Walk.”

Learn about the interesting history of Deep Cove with Liz Bollman, President of the Deep Cove Heritage Society, who will cover the local history of the village including the clamming and fishing areas of the Coast Salish peoples, the former lumber mills and unique cabins and cottages of this area. Liz will be presenting at Parkgate Library and bringing historical photos to life with her extensive knowledge of Deep Cove. This will be followed the next day, by a one-hour local history tour of Deep Cove with Liz. We will meet at the main parking lot at Myrtle Park at 10.30am and walk to Deep Cove, where the tour ends at 11.30am. Participants can opt to attend one or both events.
