This book buddies session is specifically for kids ages 6-13 who are new to Canada and would like to boost their literacy and conversation skills.

Book buddies is a one-on-one reading program to help young readers develop stronger literacy skills. We match up developing readers with teen volunteers to read together, play literacy games, and practice conversation for 30 minutes each week.
