Brews, Books, and Briony Penn

B.C. is a wild and beautiful place, and author Briony Penn has long celebrated our shared lands in her writings.

Writer and educator Briony Penn has been an advocate for our environment for decades, and was instrumental in pushing for the naming of the Salish Sea. She writes with humour and passion about the natural world. Come to the beautiful wood-paneled Wildeye Brewery to listen to Briony talk about her two latest books A Year on the Wild Side: A West Coast Naturalist’s Almanac and Stories From the Magic Canoe of Wa'xaid co-written with Xenaksiala elder Cecil Paul.

This event will take place at Wildeye Brewing located at 1385 Main Street, North Vancouver, BC.

The program will begin at 7:00pm, but please arrive early to get drinks and food. Adults 19 or over can enjoy a cold local brew.  Books will be available for purchase.
