CANCELLED: Spring Break Film Camp

NVDPL is proud to present Spring Break Film Camp! Are you a youth in grade 6-8 nterested in making movies? Film Camp is a 5-day school break program at the Library where students in grades 6, 7 or 8 come to work with others and develop filmmaking skills. Participants use filmmaking equipment and with the help of filmmaking educators from the Cinematheque come together to make great stories for the screen!

Under the guidance of professionals from The Cinematheque, you'll learn:
  • how to use your creativity to define the content, the style, and the tone of your video
  • how to hone ideas into a clear message and story on screen
  • how to nurture it into a script and translate it into a compelling story
Due to the importance of teamwork daily attendance is mandatory. Lunch is not included but some snacks may be provided. Participation release required prior to start.

Fee for camp is: $290 for a general application
