Movies are back at Capilano Branch!
Our first selection will be the 2019 film Driveways.
This is a lovely and sweetly observed story of a lonesome boy who accompanies his mother on a trip to clean out his late aunt's house, where he ends up forming an unexpected friendship with the retiree who lives next door. Official Selection at the Berlin International Film Festival and the Tribeca Film Festival.
To attend this movie, you must register, as we are limiting the capacity to 30 people.
Those attending the movie must keep masks on for the duration of the film, with the exception for brief sips of a drink. No food or eating will be allowed.
