National Canadian Film Day: Beans

An official National Canadian Film Day selection! Twelve-year-old Beans is on the edge: torn between innocent childhood and reckless adolescence; forced to grow up fast and become the tough Mohawk warrior she needs to be during the Oka Crisis, the turbulent Indigenous uprising that tore Quebec and Canada apart for 78 tense days in the summer of 1990.


To attend this movie, you must register to guarantee having a spot, as we are limiting the capacity to 30 people. We will accept drop-ins if space permits. 
 
Masks are not required, but they are welcome and encouraged as we transition away from COVID restrictions. No food or eating will be allowed.
