Two Day Memoir Writing Course with Author Karen Harmon

People crave and seek out great stories almost as much as food and water. We all have a story to tell, and some of us need to share them.

Join award-winning author Karen Harmon for an informative two-part workshop that will make you think and feel. She will introduce the ideas and concepts that have made her three books successful and relatable.

Karen will cover strategies for engaging the reader from the start and the importance of writing for the reader and yourself. In addition, she will discuss maneuvering around family and friends, building trust with the reader and fears around vulnerability. Finally, she has practical tools for writer's block, articulate vocabulary and being creative with your writing.

Memoir Writing will also include a practical blueprint for your front and back cover, epilogue, and prologue with a list of take-home tools and how to publish your memoir.
