Youth from the organization Qmunity will be presenting a fun and informative workshop to cover the following topics and more!
- Definitions of terms related to gender and sexuality
- An exploration of gender identity
- A look at various myths and stereotypes around LGBTQ/2S youth
- Examination of gender stereotypes and the connections between homophobia, transphobia and sexism
- Realities of bullying, homophobia and transphobia at schools and in communities
- Presenters sharing coming out stories
QMUNITY is a non-profit organization based in Vancouver, BC that works to improve queer, trans, and Two-Spirit lives. They provide a safer space for LGBTQ/2S people and their allies to fully self-express while feeling welcome and included.
